Jim Graybill, a long-time fixture at R&T, passed away late last week.

  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. When he returned from the war, he worked as the town Blacksmith. He later went to work for Trojan Yacht Corporation. He retired from BJ Baldwin Electric.

He had a collection of 14 antique garden tractors and many hit-or-miss engines, that he restored and showed. He enjoyed woodworking and fixing things.

Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late David and Mary Louise (Zimmerman) Graybill. Jim is survived by a daughter, Gina L. Graybill of Holtwood; five grandchildren, Andrea, Nathaniel, Danielle and Dustin Kreider and Angela Schlagnhaufer; seven great-grandchildren, Michaela, Alyssa, Graydon, Evan, Eva, Kira and Lucy; three sisters and a brother. Jim was preceded in death by a daughter, Ginger Kreider.

There will be a visitation on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 10:30 until 11:30 AM in Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, PA. The funeral is at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
