Arvid J. Hamilton Upper Pittsgrove, NJ Arvid J. Hamilton, age 55 of Upper Pittsgrove, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Elmer Hospital. Born in Mannington, he was the son of B. Annabelle (Merriel) Hamilton and the late John William Hamilton. Arvid was a firefighter and assistant fire chief for the State of NJ at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital for 27 years, retiring in 2007. He also worked on his parents' farm. He was a lifetime member of the Rough and Tumble Historical Steam Museum in Kinzers, PA, and a lifetime member of the Early American Steam Engine Society of Windsor, PA.

In addition to his mother, Arvid is survived by his wife, Kathrene; his children, Morgan and John; and his sister, Arlene Hamilton (& Chris Deschler). Funeral services will be private.
